The “tornado” is striking architectural feature of the new Bory Mall retail complex.

The mall, designed by world-famous Italian architect Massimiliana Fuksas, is an architecturally stunning retail, leisure and entertainment paradise. With 54,000 m2 of retail space dedicated to big brand fashion, children’s, sports, electronics, book and food stores in addition to a 12 screen CINEMAX (and soon to be IMAX), 4200 m2 Buppa Children’s World, remarkable covered central garden courtyard and more than 2400 parking spaces, shoppers can find all they could possible need under one roof. By delivering a perfect blend of shopping, service and leisure facilities and services, and thanks to its size and location near the heart of Bratislava, Bory Mall is set to be a focal retail point across west Slovakia.

The project utilises advanced LED colour mixing technology to create a superior effect that adds emotional stimulation, entertainment and a sense of fun to the retail complex.
As a central element of the mall’s modern aesthetic,
it requires equally modern and dramatic lighting that fascinates and stimulates customers,
adding interest and entertainment to their shopping experience.
SLE chose to use dynamic colour mixing to create interest and movement over the structure,
adding a new life to the already fluid shape.
